Bishop announces clergy moves for September 2017

 

Bishop Seamus Cunningham has announced the following clergy moves:

 

Canon Bob Spence appointed to the Partnership of Finchale to reside at Ushaw College with responsibility as Chaplain for Ushaw College.

 

Fr Cornelius O’Connor appointed to the Partnership of Pontop to reside at All Saints, Lanchester with responsibility as Parish Priest of All Saints, Lanchester

 

Fr William Agley appointed to the Partnership of Blackfriars to reside at St Charles, Gosforth with responsibility as Parish Priest of St Charles, Gosforth

 

Fr Gordon Ryan appointed to the Partnership of Carmel to reside at St Augustine, Darlington with responsibility as Parish Priest of St Augustine, Darlington

 

Fr John Clohosey appointed to the Partnership of Escomb to reside at Our Lady Immaculate and St Cuthbert, Crook with responsibility as Parish Priest of Our Lady Immaculate and St Cuthbert, Crook and St Joseph’s, Tow Law and St Thomas of Canterbury, Wolsingham

 

Fr Michael Whalen appointed to the Partnership of Ovingham to reside at Our Lady and St Cuthbert, Prudhoe with responsibility as Parish Priest of Our Lady and St Cuthbert, Prudhoe

 

Fr Anthony Cornforth appointed to the Partnership of Escomb to reside at St Mary, Newton Aycliffe with responsibility as Parish Priest of St Mary, Newton Aycliffe and St Thomas Apostle, Shildon

 

Fr Jim O’Keefe appointed to the Partnership of Benedict to reside at St Bede, Washington with responsibility as Parish Priest of St Bede, Washington
