MAKE sure you keep up to date with all that’s happening in the Catholic Diocese of Hexham & Newcastle by taking out a regular subscription to the Northern Cross.
If you subscribe for full access to the Northern Cross website you will be registered as an Online Member of the Cross, giving you exclusive access to each issue of the newspaper as it is printed, since the launch of the website in October 2014, and occasional previews of news and pictures as they are processed for publication in forthcoming issues.
Gain access to the most up-to-date news, features and photographs in the Northern Cross 24 hours a day, seven days a week, by becoming an Online Member for only £1 a month.
Online Members receive a password which allows them access through the website to the current issue's full editorial news reports and pictures, as well as stories and pictures for forthcoming issues as they are prepared for publication, in advance of the newspaper going to press.
To become an Online Member, send an email to the editor at email@example.com saying that you wish to subscribe. You will receive your password to access the exclusive, restricted live pages of our website within 24 hours, and usually much quicker. We trust that you will forward your payment by cheque, direct bank transfer, or set up a Standing Order with your bank at your earliest convenience following receipt of your password.
In the 'Subject' line of your email, write your name and postcode, for example: 'Smith TS26 9EY'. Be sure to include your full name, postal address and contact phone number in your email, and quote your own email address as this will be used for most future correspondence.
To pay for Online Membership by Standing Order, our preferred option, either use your online banking facilities to set up a new Standing Order or click Standing Order to go to a form that can be printed, completed and forwarded to your bank manager.
To pay by cheque, please make cheques payable to 'Northern Cross' and post them to Subscriptions Dept, Northern Cross, St Anne's Presbytery, 43 Welbeck Avenue, Darlington DL1 2DR.
Or you can pay by bank transfer by using your online banking facility.

As a charity, we rely entirely on revenue from newspaper sales, subscriptions and advertising to offer the services we provide. We trust that all online subscribers will forward payment promptly following receipt of their password to the restricted subscribers' area of the website.
